Golf Screening & Treatment
Why can't I transfer my golf lesson to the golf course?
Often a golf professional will find a way to compensate for a lack of flexibility or stability by changing your grip, swing or stance. These changes can be hard to integrate into a 'natural' swing making it difficult to achieve consistency on the course without hours of practice.
Therefore, if the limitation is addressed first, be it a stability issue or loss of flexibility, the golf pro can then concentrate on real issues with technique.
Golf screening is a musculoskeletal assessment to analyse flexibility, stability and strength. It can be useful to anyone of any age and ability level who wants to improve their game, or to prevent injuries occurring. A full screening may also be used to assist in identifying possible causes of existing injuries.
The cost of a full golf screening is £145.00, this consists of an initial screening session, lasting between 60 and 90 minutes, and a follow up session, of between 30 and 60 minutes, to discuss the results and run through any exercises which may have been prescribed. A report is supplied with any suggested recommendations.
